Beautiful Ugly

Yep – that was the theme for this month’s blog circle!

It was a challenge to find something “ugly”, and make it look beautiful.  Here’s what I found around the farm.

I don’t know about you, but I think he’s ugly.  😉

Sticking out of our barn.

This is hanging in our barn.  I don’t think it’s necessarily “ugly”, but it is rusty and unloved.

Any guesses what this is?  Not specific to farms, I’m sure a few of you either have one, or know someone who does.  😉

These are necessary for those of us who heat with wood, but they are definitely ugly.

We have various bones around the barn that have been here since before we were.  Every year, they get whiter and whiter.

So that’s what I found around the farm.  Now head on over to Bethney’s to see what kind of ugly she found!  Please visit everyone in our circle and leave some love!

Next month: Shallow DOF  Me likey.  🙂

Nina - wow, Adeena, i really enjoyed looking at all of these! i love all the detail you brought out in these; really well done!

Jo - Adeena, my favorite is that spider (?) in the first shot! I love the way that he’s almost camouflaged into the wood!
